The Water is Black (2018)
A mini photo series that embodies water’s association of birth and renewal for the lives of black people. The images evoke a reclamation of acts in response to the collective black experience: emerging anew, unshackled from the Atlantic passage and undergoing a baptism into a newfound spiritual existence.
